Terms & Conditions - Training

BEHAVIOUR AWARENESS

  1. If The Owner's dog has aggressive tendencies towards dogs and/or people, The Owner must notify Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures of this upon booking your appointment so we can advise you of any safety measures required prior to the visit.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS, ALLERGIES, VACCINATIONS, REGISTRATION

  1. The Owner must advise Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures of any allergies, medical conditions or behaviour problems prior to training.

  2. All pets must be up to date on vaccinations including, but not limited to: Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel Cough and Leptospirosis.

  3. All pets must be treated for necessary fleas, ticks and worms.

EXPECTATIONS

  1. Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures makes every reasonable effort to help The Owner achieve the goals, but makes no guarantee of dogs performance and behaviour outcomes as a result of our services. The Owner understands that he/she and members of the household must follow Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures instructions without modification and work with the dog daily as recommended to constantly reinforce training being given to the dog. The Owner should raise concerns of progress to Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures during the training period.

  2. Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures only uses positive reinforcement training methods. We do not use or support equipment that could cause pain to the dog such as choke chains, prong or e-collars.

  3. Training sessions are conducted by Lisa Telle and/or our assistant trainer.

  4. Training sessions will take place at The Owner's home or at a suitable agreed location, depending on the nature of the training.

  5. The Owner should allow up to 1 hour for each session depending on what we are working on.

  6. The Owner will receive a customised training online PDF booklet. This will be a emailed to you in the 3 days following your first session, along with any videos we feel may help. This booklet will outline the steps taken to train your dog and will have been discussed during session.

  7. The Owner understands that in order to see results, they must complete their homework and engage questions and concerns with the trainer.

  8. 8. The Owner is encouraged to liaise with Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures after each session for ongoing support.

PAYMENT, OPENING HOURS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

  1. The Owner agrees to pay all costs and charges for services.

  2. Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures is open Monday to Friday from 8AM to 5PM. Training sessions are very limited and require weekly bookings in advance.

  3. Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures does not give reimbursements or refunds.

  4. Cancellations/Adjustments are required to be made 24 hours in advance.

  5. All clients are invoiced weekly to the provided email address. Invoices are due 7 days from when they are sent to The Owner.

OTHER

  1. The terms and conditions of this contract are subject to change without notice. It is recommended The Owner update themselves via our website.

  2. Once accepted, this contract is valid for every professional interaction with Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures.

Terms & Conditions - Adventures

MEDICAL CONDITIONS, ALLERGIES, VACCINATIONS, REGISTRATION

  1. The Owner must advise Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures of any medical conditions, allergies or temperament issues appertaining to their pet prior to handover.

  2. All pets must be up to date on vaccinations including, but not limited to: Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel Cough and Leptospirosis.

  3. All pets must be treated for necessary fleas, ticks and worms before adventure takes place.

  4. All dogs must be registered by council.

INJURIES, ILLNESS, RISKS & ACCIDENTS

  1. The Owner agrees that if the pet becomes ill or injured and, in the opinion of any Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures employee requires medical attention, we are authorised to engage a veterinarian (The Owners Vet will be engaged if possible) and administer any advised treatments as directed by the expert. All costs incurred are to be paid by the pet owner.

  2. The Owner understands that Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures operates an off-lead pack walk environment and accepts the positive benefits and potential risks involved.

TIME & LOCATION

  1. The Owner understands that the walks destination and the order in which pick up and drop will vary day to day, meaning that your dog will be under our care from anywhere between 1.5 to 3 hours.

  2. Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures takes place in one of the council monitored dog friendly parks and trails in Central Otago. The location of each adventure is at the walker’s discretion. Destination decisions are made based upon weather, proximity and the individual dogs needs that day.

 

PAYMENT, OPENING HOURS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

  1. The Owner agrees to pay all costs and charges for services.

  2. Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures is open Monday to Friday from 8AM to 4PM. Spots are limited and require booking in advance. (Last minute bookings can be taken but are subject to availability.)

  3. Cancellations/Adjustments are required to be made 24 hours in advance.

  4. All clients are invoiced weekly to the provided email address. Invoices are due 7 days from when they are sent to The Owner.

 

OTHER

  1. The terms and conditions of this contract are subject to change. Any amendments to this agreement will be emailed to The Owner.

  2. Once accepted, this contract is valid for every professional interaction with Zoomies Dog Training and Adventures.
